Shipping Policy and Delayed or Lost Orders – AKOAPP

Shipping Scope

  • Shipping is currently available only within Saudi Arabia.

  • Shipping to PO Boxes is not available.

  • All orders are shipped from AKOAPP warehouses via Aramex.


Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Processing times may be extended during:

    • Sales and promotions

    • New product launches

    • Periods of high order volume

  • Any delay during these periods does not automatically guarantee compensation, which may be considered on a case-by-case basis.


Delivery Time

  • Estimated delivery time: 2 to 5 business days.

  • Maximum delivery time: up to 7 business days.


Shipping Fees

  • Flat shipping fee: 23 Saudi Riyals.

  • Free shipping for orders over 99 Saudi Riyals.


Accuracy of Address Data

  • The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address.

  • In case of an incorrect or incomplete address:

    • Reshipping will be at the customer's expense, or

    • A small compensation may be offered at AKOAPP's discretion.


Delayed Orders

  • If an order is delayed beyond the estimated time but eventually delivered:

    • No automatic compensation will be provided.

    • If the customer files a complaint, compensation in the form of a discount code ranging from 5% to 25% may be offered, depending on the case.


Lost Orders

  • An order is considered lost if 10 days have passed from the shipping date without delivery.

  • The customer has the right to choose one of the following options:

    • Refund to the original payment method

    • or store credit


Delivered According to Shipping Company, But Not Received by Customer

  • If the shipping company indicates that the order has been delivered:

    • An investigation will be initiated with Aramex.

    • Compensation may be offered only once.

    • In cases of repeated incidents, AKOAPP reserves the right to flag the account to prevent misuse.


General Notes

  • AKOAPP is not responsible for delays resulting from:

    • Shipping company issues

    • Weather conditions

    • Public holidays

    • Any circumstances beyond its control

  • This policy is subject to the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


Damaged or Defective Products Policy – AKOAPP

Reporting Conditions

  • Reporting must be made within 24 hours of receiving the order.

  • The following must be provided:

    • Video (preferred), or

    • Clear photos.

  • Any report submitted after this period is not eligible for compensation.


Handling Damage

  • The customer is not required to return the damaged product.

  • Compensation will be one of the following options:

    • Refund

    • Store credit

    • Discount code


Partial Defects

Including:

  • Scratches that do not affect product use

  • Damage to accompanying accessories (spoon, straw, etc.)

In these cases:

  • Only partial compensation will be offered

  • Without returning the product


Return Policy – AKOAPP

Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted only if:

  • Order value is 160 Saudi Riyals or more

  • Request submitted within 7 days of receipt

  • Product is unused and in its original condition


Shipping Costs

  • If the error is from AKOAPP:

    • Product return is not required, or

    • AKOAPP covers shipping costs

  • If at the customer's request (change of mind):

    • The customer bears the shipping cost

    • Original shipping fees are non-refundable


Partial Return

  • Allowed only if the value of the returned products is 160 Riyals or more.


Refund and Store Credit Policy – AKOAPP

Refund Methods

  • The customer has the right to choose:

    • Refund to the original payment method

    • Store credit


Important Notes

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the entire order is returned.

  • Partial refunds can be offered without returning the product, depending on the case.


Store Credit

  • Does not expire

  • Non-transferable

  • Refundable only at AKOAPP's discretion


Compensation and Misuse Prevention Policy – AKOAPP

Types of Compensation

  • Monetary refund

  • Store credit

  • Discount codes


Compensation Limits

  • Only one compensation per order.

  • AKOAPP has the right to:

    • Refuse compensation in case of misuse

    • Suspend service for violating accounts


Force Majeure Policy – AKOAPP

AKOAPP is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping company issues

  • Weather conditions

  • Public holidays

  • Any circumstances beyond its control


Product Disclaimer – AKOAPP

  • Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings.

  • Minor differences in sizes or manufacturing may exist.
